Kim Kardashian is standing by her stylish husband! The ‘Keeping Up with the Kardashians’ star is giving her hubby a boost of confidence after his Adidas fashion show was panned by critics, HollywoodLife.com has EXCLUSIVELY learned.

After the founder of Fashion Week, Fern Mallis, threw some major shade at Kanye West, 37, for his disappointing Adidas fashion show on Feb. 12, Kim Kardashian,34, has been doing her best to hold Kanye’s head up high! In fact, she has been defending his design efforts by dubbing him a “fashion icon!”

“Kim has been doing her best to help make Kanye feel better after he was publicly dissed by Fern Mallis,” a Kardashian family friend tells HollywoodLife.com EXCLUSIVELY.

Although Kanye responded to the fashion critic on Twitter on Feb. 20, Kim is bending over backwards to make sure that the rapper remains encouraged and inspired.

“She’s just as outraged as he is, and has come to his full defense, calling him a fashion icon. She keeps reminding Kanye that jealousy and ignorance will always plague his brilliance,” adds the insider.

In an ironic twist, we’ve learned that “Kim is determined to help Kanye win what she calls a war against true artistry.”

Apparently, Kimye can express their own opinions on musical “artistry,” but the power couple cannot accept the perspective of fashion pioneers on “artistry” when it involves Kanye’s collection.

Nevertheless, we can’t blame Kim for wanting to be a supportive wife! After all, Kanye seemed really hurt by Fern’s candid comment.

Fern attended his show and then totally slammed him. “I’m kind of over Kanye. I mean, I’m not a fan of his music, and the attitude and the agenda is not my style,” she said.

Evidently, letting her husband be attacked is not Kim’s style either. The reality TV star might need to cheer Kanye up even more before he reportedly meets Fern at The Spotted Pig to discuss her diss of Yeezy Season 1.

Until this highly anticipated meeting happens, we can only imagine how much the new designer will dwell on what to wear to their meal!
