It was a glorious day in the presence of the Lord,as the youths of Yaba
Baptist church embarked on a remarkable journey to Resort Park in Lekki, Lagos
on the 3rd of January,2015 to experience the Annual Youth Picnic. The youths, children and even parents all had fun. They were all
thrilled by the wonderful animals at the Resort: seeing animals like lion,
hyena, ostrich , Peacork,Crocodile,Crown Cane,monitor lizard to mention but a few. They engaged themselves in lots of indoor
and outdoor games that saw different people from different works of life coming
together as brothers and sisters under the canopy of the church.

The outing came to a close at about 4:36 pm with the closing prayer that was led by the pastor of the
church, Rev. Sam Oluniyi. According to those interviewed at the the of the picnic, they all had positive comments and wish for similar things to be done yearly as it brings all in harmony.
We say kudos to the organizers of the picnic and pray God continues to bless all involved.
