The Confederation of African Football says Equatorial Guinea has been chosen to host the 2015 African Cup of Nations in place of Morocco. CAF says the dates for the tournament will remain January 17 to February 8 after Morocco was dumped as host for demanding a postponement over Ebola fears. Equatorial Guinea co-hosted the African Cup in 2012 with Gabon. CAF says four cities will be used for the tournament: Malabo, Bata, Mongomo and Ebebiyin. CAF also says Equatorial Guinea’s team would be allowed to take part as the host nation despite being disqualified from African Cup qualifying this year for fielding an ineligible player. The draw for the group phase will take place on Wednesday, December 3, 2014 in Malabo, Equatorial Guinea.
