Michelle filed her divorce documents without a lawyer on Feb. 9, TMZ reports. The report says that her and Teddy are currently working out a property settlement. Michelle is also fighting for joint custody of their 9-year-old daughter, Owen Isabelle.
While it seems messy now, Michelle’s marriage had actually been “rocky” in the early stages too, according to a report from PEOPLE.“My relationship had a very rocky start,” Michelle told the mag in 2006. “My parents hated the idea – and now love him, of course. My dad never wanted me to be with a musician. I mean, how unrealistic is that? I’m not going to fall for an accountant! And when he found out he was closer in age to my husband than I was, he got very nervous.”
Michelle and Teddy married in Mexico in 2004. While it’s a shame they can’t work out their differences, Michelle has reportedly been moving on and dating Chris Null, a bassist for Dead Sara. She definitely has a thing for musicians!
