Kanye West claims He Deserves Credit For John Legend & Common ‘Glory’ Oscar

Kanye is “happy” John and Common won an Oscar for their song “Glory” but he also thinks he deserves some of the credit for their win. The 36-year-old rapper believes he helped develop the two artists creative ability which led them to their Academy Award!

Kanye West‘s ego is at it again! The Yeezus artist feels that he won an Oscar on Feb. 22, because he deserves some of the credit for the Best Original Song “Glory”, Kanye is convinced that because he helped “mold” John Legend and Common’s talents earlier in their career, part of their Oscar victory is his!

Kanye feels the reason John, 36 and Common, 42, won an Oscar, was because they spent years learning from the great Kanye while under his GOOD Music label,
“Kanye takes full credit for John and Common’s Oscar,” “He’s spent years working with both of them closely and helping them develop their craft.
“He’s helped mold them and their talents and he feels he definitely had a part in their creative ability which led them to that Oscar.
“Jealous he’s not. Happy, he is. He’s sure that Oscar will make it’s way to his office and he’ll get a chance to rub it.”

Neil Patrick Harris Disses Kanye West In Oscars Opening Monologue

The Oscars were filled with lots of surprises and jokes and Kanye was at the center of one right at the top of the show!
Oscar host Neil Patrick Harris, 41, kicked things off the moment he took the stage inside the Dolby Theater during his opening monologue.
He dazzled the crowd with singing and dancing before making some jokes at Kanye’s expense — referencing the rapper’s penchant for interrupting people’s speeches saying, “I secretly hope somebody pulls a Kanye West.”
