Buhari Says to Boko Haram Victims, BH will not last

Major-General Muhammadu Buhari, who is running for the presidential seat under the platform of the opposition All Progressives Congress (APC) in February 14 polls, condoles with the victims of Boko Haram attacks on Maiduguri, Konduga and Monguno in Borno State.
APC candidate expressed shock at reports that more than 40,000 refugees supposedly joining the statuses of the internally displaced.
Mr. Buhari was cited in a statement by the party’s Presidential Campaign Organisation and signed by Mallam Garba Shehu, Director of Media & Publicity.
Garba said Buhari expressed his condolences, support and prayers to all those comprising Nigerian soldiers affected by the latest terrorist raids.
Meanwhile APC presidential candidate guaranteed the situation in the affected areas won’t last forever.



He said: “While I commiserate with the latest victims of this despicable orgy of violence of Borno State, I equally implore them to bear in mind that this situation won’t last forever.”
In spite of the incompetent handling of this insurgency by the Federal Government solution is in sight with the APC set to dislodge the PDP administration that has ruinously led this great country for nearly 16 years,” Buhari assured.


At least 5, 000 people fled Monguno during Sunday’s attack by Boko Haram on the town,
 residents  arrived in Maiduguri, the Borno State capital.
Meanwhile, a lot of displaced people from Monguno, Baga and Gajiganna were observed on Baga road.
