The commissioner of police in charge of the Federal Capital Territory (FCT), Wilson Inalegwu, vowed to ensure safety during the yuletide season and the next year’s elections in the area.
The police official said:
“We are aware of the prevailing security situation in some parts of the country. To this end, we have improved our capacity to keep crime at its barest minimum.”
He also urged the FCT residents to remain vigilant and behave “in a peaceful and lawful manner”.
