Former Vice President, Atiku Abubakar has extended his condolences to the people of Yobe State over the explosion which occurred in the state yesterday, November 10.

The former VP bared his mind in a statement released by his Abuja media office yesterday.
He said:
“One
expects that knowing the anti-education mind-set of the perpetrators of
these heinous crimes, the relevant authorities should have done their
bit to ensure that at least, our educational institutions are provided
with additional security.”
The All
Progressives Congress (APC) presidential aspirant urged the government
and other stakeholders in the country to find a permanent solution to
the problem of insecurity currently facing Nigeria.
Atiku also mourned the loss of the 48 students who died
and condoled with the government of Yobe State, the management, staff
and students of the Government Technical Science College, Potiskum,
where the bomb blast occurred, and the parents and guardians of the
affected students.
